Late afternoon sunlight streaming through a clump of chives that I’m hoping will be perennial.  If all goes according to plan, it should come back early next spring, ready to produce its pretty lavender blossoms.  Who knows, though?  So many unknowns in the garden right now.  Really, so many unknowns in the garden ever and always.

So many unknowns in life, too.

“Accept that it’s unknown and it’s plain sailing. Everything is unknown….”     ~ John Lennon

Pretty, though.

The chives in my herb basket are the one thing that always comes back. Lovely photo.
